Birth of Inner Pilgrim

The name Inner Pilgrim was whispered into my consciousness when I was meditating under a tree, acclaimed as the site where Siddhartha Gautama, who became known as the Buddha, is said to have attained enlightenment about 2.300 years ago. This tree is located next to the Mahabodhi Temple in Bodhgaya, India.

The wish to provide you with a “Lonely Planet for your Inner World” had been in my mind for almost ten years. As a Psychotherapist and Coach in private practice in London, I often spoke with people wishing to start or deepen their spiritual journey, yet at a loss as to how to go about it.

My personal mission to create a platform with tools and techniques to guide people on a voyage within towards a destination of inner calm, love and joy was born.

Hi, I'm Karin

Travel Guide to Your Soul

  • Coach & Psychotherapist

    Founder of Inner Pilgrim

    Coach & Psychotherapist

My friends describe me as a Commercial Tiger and Buddhist Zen Monk in one.

Thanks to my corporate background at Heineken I am refreshingly practical with a down-to-earth nature and solution focused attitude.

Yet I combine this with an extensive experience in Eastern Wisdom Traditions, The Buddhist Art of Living, Mindfulness Meditation and Creative Arts. My clients often compare me with a bridge, successfully applying the philosophy of the East to Western life.

I'm a qualified psychotherapist and coach with ten years of private practice experience in the City of London.

I enjoy sharing my suitcase full of techniques with you, to improve your daily life both at work and at home. And I love to guide you to experience heartfelt healing for your soul!

My Mission

It's my personal mission to help you to connect with your happiness, love and light within, so that your presence alone will be healing to others.

I have always had a strong desire to travel, it's a form of therapy and it connects me with my spirituality. I believe that taking distance from our day-to-day reality helps us to see things in a new perspective. And I love being like a sponge, soaking up the wisdom, soul and spirit of places like India and Nepal.

The warmth and wisdom of Eastern Philosophy, acquired during my travels, is incorporated into my work for everyone to benefit.

In order to safeguard a life-style with space for traveling and spirituality, I became inspired to create an online business free from a fixed location. Much gratitude to you and Inner Pilgrim for giving me this blessed opportunity.

With love,
Karin Peeters
